I have lived to be 18. I know how to make my friends laugh. I avoid awkward situations.I can do the splits. I could act or write for a living. I enjoy strawberry juice and kiwi juice. I still colour in my colouring books. I like the names "Delores," "Penelope," "Moira," "Gwyneth," "Doris," "Persephone," and "Guinevere." I make spitballs out of those subscription cards you get in TV Guide. I love to prove people wrong. I go on ego trips. I go on id trips. I have a list of 20 things to do before I die. I've done 10 of them. I hug my cats. My favourite colour is sky blue (or metallic silver). I've never had a candied apple in my life. I love to dance. I ignore phonies. I rely on chapstick and apples to survive. In another life, I was a french mermaid. I think Juliette Lewis is an excellent actress. I always brush my teeth in the shower. I still have projects I did in grade six. I'm proud of my heritage. I'm proud of being Canadian. I hate David Letterman. I plan on living forever. I think cops abuse their power. I'm smart. I love the theme song to "The Golden Girls." I used to be a Trekkie. I don't know why. I used to love Michael Jackson. I don't know why. I love old, classic movies. I think James Dean is still alive, he's just missing. I love U2 and Bon Jovi. I share my birthday with Jon Bon Jovi. I love to say the word "vernacular" a lot. I believe there's no such thing as "ugly." I can be hypocritical but I hide it well. I love public transportation. I'm going to live downtown when I grow up. I still say things like, "when I grow up." I believe there's no greater failing than apathy (so what?). I buy interesting clothes so I know no one else has them. I like to show off but I try not to. I failed my G1 driving test but passed my G2 in 5 minutes. I hate the sound electric tape makes when you rip off a piece. I have perfect teeth. My bottom lip is fuller than my top. I love my toes. I believe that hands are windows into people's souls. I still own Barbie dolls that I never play with. I completed my OAC french course in grade 10. I think Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys, the Spice Girls, and Hanson are all pearls. Do you know how oysters make pearls? THROUGH CONSTANT IRRITATION! I like to laugh. I like Step Aerobics and Tae Bo. I refuse to believe Richard Simmons is gay. I refuse to believe Ricky Martin is straight. I've never been to the old world. I love history. I love archaeology. I love Indiana Jones. I hate mathematics. I hate Biochemistry. I hate Han Solo. I love my grandparents' cooking. I almost ate glue once. I've been to Brazil. I wish I was rich. I wish you were rich. I hate the word, "paradise." I play with my hair. I don't jump on my bed as often as I should. I love sharpened pencils. I love lined paper. I love black and white photos. I laugh while reading cheesy romance novels. I'm a vegetarian. I've been a vegetarian since grade 9. I'm lactose intolerant. I've been lactose intolerant all my life. I swear in my head more than out my mouth. I sing wobbily. I squint when I smile. Lastly, there's only one me (and the world heaves a collective sigh of relief!).
